About Me

Hong Kong
Hong Kong is where I spent a majority of my life, at first I hated the city as I was not accustomed to change from my simple lifestyle to such a fast-paced one with after class tutorials lined up one after another. Soon, I learned to adapt and began to enjoy the environment growing attached to the city I now call home.

Guang Zhou
Guang Zhou was where I was born and raised, being the middle child, I had an older sister and a younger brother. I grew up around my grandparents and had a pretty simple childhood. Guang Zhou was also where I learned how to swim, first developing it to help strengthen my lungs against asthma.

Massachusetts
After my older sister came to the US for her studies in high school as well as college, I decided to go to school at Eaglebrook, although rigorous both academically and athletically, it felt different to the life back home in Hong Kong, I was able to learn how to grow from a boy to more of a man after we were exposed to responsibilities and commitments. Coming to the US was also where I learned the importance of heritage and being Chinese.
Swimming
I started swimming at the age of 7, as a means of survival and exercise, slowly I began to love the water and it became more competitive for me.
Rowing
Rowing is something I started in the summer of 2022. As soon as I got onto my first scull I felt at home, I was calm and collected thanks to my history of swimming, allowing me to progress fast.
Cello
The cello is something I picked up after singing in school choirs and other groups for a while thanks to a friend's mom, ever since then, I fell in love with the instrument.
